The Management of "Staurino Fratelli Srl" recognizes human rights as a central value in the company strategy. The ethical policy constitutes the foundation of its operational and management strategies for the entire company. The "Staurino Fratelli Srl" undertakes to operate so that its activities are of advantage for the parties interested in the company in full compliance with the provisions of the law and with the provisions of the codes or regulations on safety and workers' rights. Furthermore, it strives to ensure that the development of its activities is sustainable and compatible with the protection and safety needs of workers and is oriented towards continuous improvement. Therefore, the company undertakes in matters of social responsibility to comply with the requirements established by the Responsible Jewelery Council, specifically:
Business ethics
We are committed to conducting our business according to a high ethical standard and in a manner that ensures integrity, transparency and compliance with Applicable Law.
We will not engage in Bribery Payments or Bribery.
We will not tolerate Money Laundering and/or Terrorist Financing.
We adhere to the World Diamond Council Guarantee System in support of the Kimberley Process.
We will accurately and completely communicate the material characteristics of the products we sell.
We will take appropriate measures to ensure the physical integrity and safety of shipments of goods.
We will respect commercial confidentiality and data privacy.
Human rights and social performance
We support and respect fundamental human rights and the dignity of the individual, according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations.
We do not tolerate the use of child labour.
We will not use forced, bonded or bonded labor or restrict the freedom of movement of Workers or employees.
We subscribe to high standards for health and safety during operations.
We will not impede workers' freedom of association. Where laws prohibit this freedom, we will support parallel dialogue vehicles.
We will not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, social background, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, membership of associations, political affiliation, marital status, physical appearance, age or any other prohibited reasons attributable to the workplace, so that any individual, who is "suitable for work", receives equal opportunities and is not discriminated against, on the basis of factors unrelated to the ability to carry out the profession.
Corporal punishment will not be used under any circumstances and the use of degrading treatment, threats, abuse, coercion or intimidation of any kind will be prohibited.

Annual Due Diligence
The Management of “Staurino Fratelli Srl” has carried out the appropriate checks on its own structure and with respect to its commercial partners in order to verify any deviations from the OECD guidelines and furthermore no risks for human rights have been identified. The transactions considered are low-risk and the checks carried out comply with the RJC principles.
